We present a small historical simulation game, recreating the battle of the river Cephissus (also known as battle of Halmyros or battle of Orchomenos) which was fought on March 13th 1311 between the mercenary Catalan Company (the almogavars) and the frankish troops of the duke of Athens Walter V of Brienne in the plain of Orchomenos.

Game descripction
Cefís 1311 is a small introductory game, with brief and simple rules and no more than 50 counters, ideal to introduce people in the world of historical simulation games.
It's a game for 2 players and some 30 minutes. A player controls the Catalan Company, who raised up against its former lord, the count of Athens Walter V of Brienne. The other player controls the frankish troops, with the aim of wipe out those annoying mercenaries. The Catalan Company troops are very powerful in hand-to-hand combat, while the frankish knights are specially skilled at cavalry charges. On the other hand, the fields around the river Cephissos are easy to flood, turning the land into a morass...
